Road Crew
Road Crew is a webcomic created by Tommie Kelly, that ran from April 2008 to December 2009. It’s not defunct or anything as it still updates, albeit only occasionally. It’s all about the behind the scenes world of ROCK AND ROLL! The characters are all Roadies of some kind or another. Jim is the Soundman, Matt is the Lampy (that’s the lighting guy for those not in the know 
), Eric is the dog’s bodyor gofer, and Drake is the worst (but Typical) Road Manager.
In 2010 Road Crew Turned into From Rags to Rockstars
. The comic went from a newspaper style three or four panel strip to a more longform/graphic novel style. Kelly decided that he would be better served if he separated the two comics, as both where drastically different stylistically from each other. Although Both Road Crew and (Like I said Monday!) have the same cast, the themes of From Rags to Rockstars
) are more mature and less gag of the day orientated.
So think Of Road Crew as STAR TREK the Original TV Series and From Rags to Rockstars
as the films! Although neither comics are set in the future or have funny looking aliens. Or, in more music terms, Road Crew is BLACK SABBATH and From Rags to Rockstars
is OZZY’s solo career!
